JUNE 2, 2011

PTL and WOW!  We continue to be encouraged by the support from the community!  How blessed is Madison and it’s sister cities!

Thank you for giving and recognizing the many many ways Inside-Out is serving.    For the next month we will be focusing on recovery and continue to help families displaced by the storms to find Hope – even in the tough times.   VOLUNTEERS (that is all of us), we need your continued prayers and dedication to helping with the food pantry, helping to answer phones, helping to sort/wash/clean/prepare/lift/load/deliver and unload for all the many needs we have seen coming to us.

Current needs:  ALL VOLUNTEERS to attend our Saturday, June 11, 2011 Training Update from 9-12.  We’ve had many move in to service during the emergency times (we are so grateful) and we need to make sure the long-time and the newest Volunteers are working along the same guidelines.  Email or phone us to reserve your place.
VOLUNTEERS for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.  Email info@inside-outministries.org or phone us at 256-325-5193 if you have time from 9:30-12:30 on one or more of these days.  We also need volunteers to help with yard maintenance for our Sr. Citizens and single moms who may not be able to do these things for themselves.
PARTNERS – local churches, civic groups, school clubs and administrators to join the team and allow Inside-Out to share with you about the needs and the opportunities for service.  When we all work together the funds and the assistance goes to the ones with the greatest need without duplicating services.  We also want to be of service to you and your groups, so this helps us find out your needs as well. If you have questions or would like us to share with your group, please email or phone us.

Q&A – we have had many ask us about giving furniture or appliances to someone they know.  We are honored to help, but the help must come from Inside-Out.  Unless you are a charity with similar purposes we are not allowed to just give things away.  We hope you understand, this is operational regulations and while it might seem to be “red tape”, it is part of the process to make sure everything is done properly and used to do the most good – not just do something.  If you know someone in need, please ask them to phone 256-325-5193 and ask for help fitting their circumstances.  We are available but we must do what it is God has put us here to do and it involves contact with those in need to make sure the proper resources are put in to place.

Blessings to you all and may God guide us in His wisdom and will as we strive to share His love.
