Richard, a behind-the-scenes giver. Knowing Richard is to know a man with a servant’s heart. He volunteered to mow grass, weedeat and sweep up at Inside-Out two times a month and also mowed for others in the community. While a schedule was set, Richard would pop in and if there was a visible need, he would take care of the grass even if it wasn’t his week. He was always ready to lend a hand with food pickups and he served on the parking crew at the Community Thanksgiving Dinner. He was there rain or shine, hot or cold, serving others-not because he had to but because serving was his gift. We thank God for Richard and the example he set for us all.
Grant, a servant of the Lord. We learned so much from Grant who was in his 80s when he served with us at Inside-Out. His wisdom and talents will forever be etched in our hearts and minds. Mentor, friend, servant – just a few of the words to describe Grant. Thank God for his unspeakable gifts of special people to help us share His love with Others. Grant showed us all how to live life with purpose.
Blake – what a friend to us all. Blake was an encourager and what a sense of humor. Serving alongside Blake each day was a blessing. His service and love for people was a gift to Inside-Out and to our Community. We are grateful to have known Blake and to have seen his dedication to service beyond his handicap. He was loved by all who knew him.
One of the sweetest men in service at Inside-Out Ministries and friend to many, John, has passed away. His calm, humble, respectful and giving ways will be remembered here. He volunteered here for just over 2 years and each person who came in contact with him knows what a hole we have in our hearts and in our service. RIP, John, you are loved!
Our Dear Friend, Lydia, is now with Jesus. We treasure her friendship, her kindness and her love and desire to serve The Lord by serving Others. Her service to Others filled her heart as it does ours. She taught us so much and encouraged us all to see ourselves as valuable and skilled in ways we couldn’t imagine. She is missed every day but we have the assurance that we will one day meet again. All because of Love. We know Lydia would want you to know that Love as well.
In April, 2015, our Friend, Lee, passed on to heavenly glory. She was a joy to be around, full of wisdom and generosity (89 years young when serving with us). We loved her for the short time we knew her and will always remember her with smiles.
John 3:16-17- “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
If you are unsure about your eternity, please call us at Inside-Out. We want you to know of Jesus and His Love!
